PAF humbucker pick-ups

PAFs have become extremely expensive over the last couple of years so you need to be diligent if you decide to invest in these magical pick-ups. There are many fakes and doctored lash-up examples on the market. Vintage Haven don’t buy PAFs unless we know exactly what they came out of and preferably like to see evidence of the removal. Original factory soldered covers are obviously more desirable but they are becoming very hard to find. Factory nickel PAFs are much rarer that the gold plated version so expect to pay a premium for an unopened nickel example.
